Project One is a Construction Management firm, based in Australia, specializing in the delivery of fast-track interior fit out & refurbishment projects using head contract, construction management and design & construction delivery models.

Our team of construction professionals deliver projects for building owners, asset managers, project managers, architects, designers and business owners.

Our real purpose and commitment is to continue building our credibility, and reputation through best-in-class delivery management and customer service, ensuring that we develop loyal and long-lasting relationships with everyone we engage with. As much as 80% of our business comes through recommendations and referrals. Our mission is to make that 100% today.

The Directors & Owners of Project One, all professionally qualified across construction and design management disciplines, have worked very closely together since 2010 when the firm was established in Sydney. This solid foundation, together with our shared values, has allowed us to build an excellent culture, a team of highly skilled professionals and proven track record.

Pip de Rohan

CEO

Pip de Rohan CEO

Pip is directly responsible for high level business strategy, developing and managing long standing client relations, sustained growth of the Project One Group and maintaining the company’s values & integrity both internally & with all project partners.

With 25 years' experience delivering projects in Australia and London, Pip has a particular expertise in Design & Construct projects. From the importance of accountability and team building, establishing clear commercial objectives, concise communication channels, the importance for accuracy and professional reporting across all aspects of project delivery at micro and macro levels.

Outside of the office Pip has a formal mountain leadership (ML) qualification and, over the years, has led expeditions across the Namibian Desert and through Patagonia while simultaneously working on ongoing social and environmental projects.

Andrew Herrett

Andrew Herrett Managing Director

Andrew is directly responsible for maintaining the highest service levels with all clients to ensure that all Project One standards are consistent, accurate, reliable and professional across the Project One Group nationally.

Keeping a tight rein on internal weekly reporting structures Andrew is also responsible for overseeing sub-contractor performance, competitive market testing, high level financial management, dispute resolution and definitive project closure.

Having worked his way up through the industry, Andrew has extensive experience of the tender, procurement and delivery of projects whilst managing operations at high level from start to finish.

Elena Chakar

Elena Chakar Project Director

Elena is responsible for overseeing all project delivery teams and establishing the project strategy required to provide our clients with the optimum results to meet their commercial objectives.

Now with 17 years’ experience in the construction industry Elena started her career with a Bachelor of Design with Honours at the University of Technology Sydney. At that time, she also found a passion for sustainability and went on to obtain a Master of Sustainable Development and become a Green Star Accredited Professional.

Outside the office, Elena is a keen environmentalist and animal welfare advocate actively involved in a number of charities, having volunteered for Oxfam Australia, the Jane Goodall Institute, the Palm Oil Action Group, and the Borneo Orang-utan Survival Group, amongst others.

Will Seabourne

Will Seabourne Client Relationship Manager

Will has a wealth of knowledge, gained over his 16 year career, placing him most favourably as a Client Relationship Manager who offers valuable and strategic oversight of Project One’s service levels and deliverables at each stage of the delivery process.

Will is a huge asset to our senior management team responsible for, and with a laser-focus on, exceeding client expectations across the board.

A seasoned industry professional, with a background in building surveying, Will has worked extensively on the client side as project manager across the commercial, retail and industrial sectors specialising in major office fit outs & refurbishments, upgrading commercial assets, major lift upgrades and new build projects across blue-chip commercial property portfolios here in Australia.

Tsolair Nazarian

Design Director

Tsolair Nazarian Design Director

With 7 years' experience in the industry Tsolair brings her enthusiasm, impressive work ethic, integrity, professionalism and creativity to every single project.

Tsolair is responsible for developing strategies for design & construct projects from brief development, conceptual design, planning, through to detailed design and documentation. She is involved in all projects from start to finish with the support of her team.

With a wealth of knowledge, an exceptional eye for detail and well-deserved confidence in her capabilities, and those of her team, she takes full accountability for all deliverables to ensure that all KPIs are both met and exceeded.

A graduate from the University of Technology Sydney where Tsolair received a Bachelor of Design in Interior and Spatial Design and subsequently developed her skills across all disciplines of interiors specialising in work space environments.

Our staff will provide the highest professional standards at all times. The success of each project relies solely on the genuine participation of all parties acting professionally, diligently, courteously, competently and with integrity.

We believe our point of difference to be our people and the relationships we develop with our clients, suppliers, consultants & contractors alike. We will take the lead, working together with all the stakeholders, to understand their core objectives and in-turn to ensure that we develop a tailored approach to the successful delivery of each and every project.

All of our staff are engaged in an ongoing professional improvement program with customer service levels and professional skills developed and monitored by the Directors, on an ongoing basis to ensure that our standards and importantly our reputation are maintained across the Group.

ENVIRONMENTAL
INITIATIVES

In collaboration with the Better Buildings Partnership (BBP) we have developed a range of services to optimise building performance together with a toolkit designed to help foster and harness a vertical community in a multiple tenanted building to achieve common sustainability goals.

Much of the partnership’s work aims to streamline and enable conversations between tenants and landlords, whether by driving demand for high-performing buildings, creating clauses for best practice leases that set a framework for collaboration, or providing template documents for tenants, property managers and owner meetings as a committee for change within each building and to expand its reach over 7000 office businesses in the Sydney CBD.

Our vision is to deliver considered building solutions that have minimal impact on the environment, whilst benefiting the broader community.

We always look to consider and measure ways to reduce our impact on social, environmental and economic conditions. Accordingly, we review and improve our systems and processes consistently.

Project One works in collaboration with the Better Buildings Partnership to improve sustainability in Australia’s commercial buildings and engage with regulators on key environmental policy and regulatory issues.

We feel privileged and fortunate to be able to give back to the community, often working in collaboration with our clients, to sponsor events and to help raise funds for a number of specific charities with whom we have a close association. This genuine initiative comes from the staff themselves who all share the same values.

Charities we have worked with include Fred Hollows Foundation, Down Syndrome NSW, Youngcare, Property Industry Foundation, Oxfam Trailwalker, Stillbirth Foundation, Tour de Cure, Polished Man and many others.
